For anyone with a 3g alternator conversion...voltage regulator info

Standard part # VR455, ~$60. Brushes that mount underneath, inside the alternator, are sold separately.

Just had to change mine out as the car was charging at 16 volts. You can see why in the picture..

I did this conversion on 2 of my Marks now I'm worried something is gonna go wrong.....I'm not sure what your showing ...what do I look for?

That circled part was melted. Happened from being a nice guy and giving someone a jump.

Shouldn't be anything to really worry about. I'm sure you'll be fine.
