Scroll down to the part about the new Lincolns. This guy is so knowledgable about Detroit and always speaks the truth. The worst part? He had to remind us of the 2002 Continental concept and how much better it was than that new MKS concept.
Dammit. Now I really miss that Conti. :(

I told you guys in the other thread that MKS had no originality and there was nothing to get exited about. I just hope that the MKScrap will stay a concept. Lincoln has a last chance to bring the 2002 concept continental to life and compete. Chances are that they wont, I would give Lincoln another 3 years tops before we kiss the brand goodbye.

ok, ok, you are right man! I was just excited to finally see new products from Lincoln. The '02 Conti concept officially changed my mind, reminded me how badly Lincoln dropped the ball...again!

After watching Kit's History of the Lincoln DVD, that Conti Concept SO embodies what Henry Leland and Edsel Ford directed Lincoln to be, elegant while avoiding styling excesses.

Agrees totally^-----------------
I saw the Aston Martins at the Detriot show and was like..Why can't Lincoln build something like that....And the wife said something to the fact of if it's like mine they'll go bankrupt, and I said (expletive deleted expletive deleted expletive deleted) she doesn't like my Mark but I don't care. I keep telling her I bet Jessica Alba would like BOTH of my cars....

I thank this guy for stating the obvious  . I saw Lincoln's inevitable downfall as soon as the Zephyr was released. I see it as the 2nd nail in their coffin. It's up to them to turn that hammer around and pry those nails off.
Pardon the poetry but it's a fetish :D

Very well put Ron. The Zephyr was the second nail, the MKX is the third and the MKS is the fourth.
Then make the 02 Conti concept and remove one of them, Make something similar to the Mark IX concept but nothing like the Mark X and remove a second one, stick with a full frame RWD Towncar and remove a third and take out the last one for having the balls to make my little dream here a reality.;)
