I like the interior enough (though it looks too much like the Mazda-based Lincolns) to say its a step up from the current Navi...but the outside? Makes an Escalade look understated. Yowza!

all that new chrome! (Of course, I'm biased towards black and chrome though). That is one handsome looking Expedition, err, I mean "Nagigator". Maybe its just me, but I wish Lincoln would return to the waterfall grilles on all the models. And that wider chrome strip running horizontally through the middle of the grill says "GM" to me.

That grilly front end is a bit over done. Interior looks, well, cramped, but that could be the picture. Those AC vents over the center console look mighty small for such a big creature. Hey, it's called a Navigator, it's $50K+, don't you think a Nav system would come standard by now?

Hey hey, dont compare that beautiful sedan to that navi. To tell you the truth, I love it, finally something to go against the escalade. Do you have any idea how many football players escalades i work on. I think it will sell!!!! Fast!!!! If you spend 50k on a truck, around here anyway, that truck better say $50,000 on the front. And that truck does! Not my cup of tea, but it will sell!

Yeah true. I’d love to get a 63 Continental myself. BTW, have you seen the 07 escalade? Typical GM fashion especially the interior…what did Saturn design it?

...Typical GM fashion especially the interior…what did Saturn design it?...

Let me guess, cheap plastic all over the place, a few chunks of metal here and there to scare the driver, and dorky corporate standard symbols all over big gaudy push buttons designed especially for fat fingered americans? Sounds like a GM to me. So why in the heck would Ford want to follow GM down the tubes? Look at Daimler Chrysler, they can't seem to do anything wrong now a days; retros with Hemi engines, not afraid of powerful cars, neat concept car like designs (on some), reasonable prices, and even a minivan that looks half good for the family types. Come on Bill Ford... waaake uuuup!

Now that is one cool ride! This is the Lincoln I dream of owning. And it dosn't remind me of the Ford Expedition with the two grills and chrome extension on the hood I see above.

Looks cheap in pictures...Just think how “nice” it looks in person. Looks like they took a page from the Toyota highlander …mmm, beauty

I'm not too fond of the grill that they have been putting on the new cars. To me, the previous one, is one of the symbols of Lincoln. The one on this Navi doesn't look too bad, but the one I saw on the new Aviator scared me. It looked very cheap. I love Lincolns, but I do not like Ford and I especially hated it when the Navigator first came out, it looked just like an Expedition but with bigger tail lights, so I am relieved that the Navigator had been redone just so it doesn't resemble a Ford Expedition.

But, have you compared the Cadillac Escalade EXT truck to the Chevy Avalanche, side by side? I could barely find a difference and I honestly hate it when the car companies make the more expensive luxury cars look almost the same as the cheaper brand. To me, it shows a serious lack of originality.

I love my Mark VIII. Nothing else has been made like it!

Oh boy, I though the front was ugly but then I saw the back, it’s even uglier. These Volvo like taillights just don’t belong there, they are trying to make it look like a Zephyr from the back or something? I think I am gonna be looking for a bargain on a 2006 Navi at the end of the year :D

Gosh DaKat, just doesn't look Lincoln enough. Busy, busy, busy front end, goofy back end, cheap looking insides... Wish I could find something good to say about it.

pick your own name when you buy it. :)

We can have a naming contest to see what all the "MK-whatever" vehicles should stand for. The MKX and MKZ are first.

I'm assuming the Lincoln SUV folk arent gonna give in and rename the Navigator into the MKN or something like that. After all, Cadillac didn't mess with the Escalade after renaming their lineup to CTS, STS, SRX, DTS and that other three letter caddy I am forgetting.

I think that truck is a costomizers dream. Blacked out grills, smoke tails, lose the chrome bug gauard, it could be hot.
