Just curious to see what Ford's most valuable asset has to say: what REAL Lincoln fans will say. Not what the auto media pundits say, not what a randon sample of potential buyers say, not what Ford says...

Well, we had the Continental. Hopefully the flagship project E386 will be called that, the larger one.

Ford owns Aston Martin, Jaguar, Volvo, and part of Mazda.

The obvious answer for a serious Lincoln is:

Lincoln International

A little bit from each division, ASSEMBLED IN THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

We can get silly and abbreviate it to INT_pick a letter.

"Lincoln Thunder" - 5.4L Supercharged - Using T-bird body with Lincoln Trim. Something exciting.

These new "changing name Lincolns" are just "keep up with the Joneses" vehicles. I don't like the Zephyr - test drive was a total letdown. The SUV thing, well, by the looks/specs, well, I don't expect a lot.
