Gudelines for posting in this forum.
1. Stock Mark VII related, only.
2. Be clear with a question and relate all revelant information and observations about the problem.
3. Have you done troubleshooting before posting, so prudent advice can be given.
4. Do not start another thread about the same original thread.
5. Refer to our tech section for possible help with your problem before posting a new thread.
6. If you have modiified some part, it is difficult to offer advice on how it should work.
7. Modified engines, drive train, suspension, manuel trans, headers, mufflers, race type discussion etc. should be posted in the Modified Mark forum.
8. All other seperate discussion should be posted in other forums with appropiate headings.
9. Discussions; even though Mark VII related and becomes general and goes on and on should go to the Lounge. Use judgment on this please. It may be moved to the Lounge.
10. Be understanding that those who are not familuar with this car, it's different model years and it's systems can find it difficult to translate advice given, into action without service information and tools.
11. Reason for this is to keep the forums better organized for information sorting and less confusion to those that are seeking assistance as well as for better accuracy in helpful replies.
12. Try to keep replies level and not take offense or make wrong assumptions unless it is clearly displayed. We all make mistakes, at times, think about it and let some time go by first.
13. No cars or parts for sale, post them in the classified section.
