I have installed a hitch on my Zeph...... I know this is sacrilegious....
But, in my defense, it looks very stealth... And I have a small utility trailer that I use to haul plants and garden stuff around. Check it out...

Yeah, you can barely see it, that's good.
Just remember these cars aren't designed for extended use (i.e. highway) with a trailer of any size, but they will happily do the job you want (small trailer) for a looong time if you install an external transmission cooler. That's always the weakest link in towing.
More of an FYI, the problems surface depending on use and usually happen years after the 5/50,000 warranty runs out.

Like Pro said, PLEASE install a transmission cooler. The bigger, the better. Trailering anything will work your transmission over, so do yourself a favor and prolong it's life substantially.

Are you sure there is a hitch under there???:p I have looked those pics over several times and can only barely catch a glimpse of it in the first picture. A shift kit probably wouldn't hurt either on prolonging trans life since it cuts down on slippage a bit. My brother's new Mark VII has a hitch installed too and he has a big trans cooler and a shift kit. Haven't towed anything with it though. Gotta get the brake lines fixed first.:D
