will the flowtechs equal-length headers really work?

I was just looking at them and says it wont fit automatic column shifter?

Will it still work on my 86 continental since imustang column shifter is probably a bit different

But people are getting shorty headers for these lincolns or do those that have them have floor shifters?

Equal length headers fit on Mark VIIs, so they'll fit on Contis too. I'd be surprised if the column shift would interfere with that area.
