I heard that you can change the display from green to blue. How is that possible?

In theory, yes... in practice, well, its probably tough to do. I have heard of a link somewhere that says how to do it on a T-Bird digital dash.. but here is basically what you would have to do...

remove cluster (for good instructions, see the tech article on the DCL tuneup)
disassemble cluster fully. carefull here, the plastic that hold the light bulb strips is very brittle by now.
remove the LCD panels from the mounting hardware.. These are glass plates (a lamination of them actually), that is less than 1/16th inch thick.
Peel off the green color filter stuff from LCD panels... probably not easy to get off.
replace with blue color
reverse above procedure.

I did that on one of my Contis but the down side is the cluster is the only thing you can change, I removed everything and disassembled it to find a way to change the color.
The dash turned out to a nice blue but it looked awful next to the green of the remainder.

I purchased a blue binder cover that was translucent and it worked well I attached it by spraying clear engine enamel to the back of the cluster then laid it down, I did this because I knew it would handle the heat of the bulbs.

Thank you very much...I might try to see how hard it is to the cluster broken down...

like steve said, the EATC and radio (if stock) will still be green. they can't be changed, they use VFD (vacuum flourescent displays)

yeah all of the logicon buttons cant be changed because the color is the in the button itself and not the bulb.

The bulb is just a clear bulb that shines onto the buttons of the logicon which are green buttons with black "paint" over them and the only green thats left is what you read.

And by the looks of the buttons I highly doubt you can just reproduce them and have them look good.

Green does suck though.
