I'm converting a 85 cont. from CFI to MPFI and don't know which cable to use. Please help.

You'll have to use all the later model throttle/cruise/transmission cables.

Depends what year throttle body you use. The cable needs to match the throttle body. 1986 uses one cable, 1987+ uses another. The 87+ cable will be cheaper, but has the stupid plastic bushing on it. If there are 2 "pegs" on the throttle body lever, its a 1986. If it has a hole and a peg, its a 1987+. All things being equal, I'd go for an 87 and newer throttle body and cable just because it will be easier to obtain replacements. The 86 is a one-year part, while the 87+ one was used for at least 5 years.
