Judging by the hardware, the MK X's THX audio will be pretty darn nice, a step above even what the Zephyr has. (note the 8" woofer and rear high mounted tweeters)

A single 8" sub would have been great in the Zephyr. I looked quick once when we first got the car, and I believe the 2 subs look like 6x9s or 5x7s, and not much bass response. But I will say the THX is worth every penny in the Zephyr, the clarity for a stock system is incredible.

Yeah, I think its two 6x9s...the Milans have them as an option but without the other THX goodies. I think the MKX will sound better, but no doubt the Zephyr's THX system is a worthwhile improvement from stock.

Bout time FOMOCO gets it together with good sound in their vehicles. Now for a good engine... perhaps they should contract with Toyota or Nissan.

I think that the 3.5L will even appeal to Lexus-a-philes! ;)

Not holding my breath on this one. Ford will undoubdetly figure out a way to mess up the new 3.5L. Perhaps by going cheap on a few key components as they have always done in past. My guess; cheap head gaskets that will blow out before the warranty is up. Next guess; externally balancing the engine to save money, thus causing long term engine bearing failure and rough running - another Ford "trick" to save cash on having to incorporate a more expensive internal balancing shaft.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like they aren't doing that this time. Heck, I've never had any negative feelings to the extrenally balanced Duratecs, even really old ones...well that was until I drove a new Duratec Montego, crazy vibration!
