178 sounds low for the fuelpump/sender unit inc install... you needed the sender unit, right??? my last check on a price for that type item was nearly that or more for the part. I say this because the fuel pump can usually be purchased without the sender, but not the otherway around.
Brake price, 150 for fronts?? hmmmmm, I havn't done the brakes on my Lincoln yet, but I did all 4 (2 rotors, 2 drums, pads, shoes, and new springs and hardware for rear) on my Jimmy for a 100 in parts, my labor... most brake shops around here do brakes starting at 99 bucks for all 4 (of course no one owns the car that can use the $99 brake job).

If the pump is an *NEW*assy and not just the pump and strainer and the brakes job has the better parts and not the low end parts then you have a great deal.
Sounds as if it was a cash under the counter no reciept thing.if it is then NO way because if they use crap parts or you get used parts or not good quality of work done then you are SCREWED.

the guy told me 178.00 and that includes labor for the fuel pump w/ the sending unit for the gas tank,he said the pump was 97.00 dollars,i told him that i have 2 pumps and that this is for the gas tank and that the sending unit is part of the pump,,,,cant be more clear to him then that,i hope theres no error, and the front brakes pads w/ new rotors plus labor for 150 sounds ok to me.

Replacing the front pads and rotors is not much more work than removing and replacing the front wheels. Now the rears.........
