O-ring not seated in the fitting?

The hose fitting has a plastic crush seal on it, or it should...do not over torque that 18mm nut, it wont help. I'd say remove the hose at the rack, and look for the white plastic crush seal first, I know it sucks to take it on and off.....Rich

I have found that if you remove the air filter and battery boxes the whole job becomes so easy. you can remove the P/S hose with little effort and tighten the hoses correctly with minimal effort.
