I know this has been discussed before, but I can't seem to find where. I have a '94 Signature Series with 135, 000 miles on it , no previous issues. Check DCL light comes on when the vehicle starts, (usually) and stays on intermittently. I have read somewhere that when this link is not functioning, the gauges won't work correctly, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see an occasional reading of 0 oil pressure. What is involved in repair/replacing of this part?
Any advice?

See the TECH article about cleaning the connections on the back of the unit. That may or may not fix it. If it doesn't there are resistors/circuits that need repair/replacing on the board itself...something we are working on documenting.
That's it in a nutshell.

I had the same problem....The DCL tune up fixed it.

3 days and 200+ miles since the tune up and so far so good. Thanks.
