You got that "comfort" thing going with that one. My white 90BB had over 200k on it when I sold it earlier this year.

How are the seats in feeling? These are the seats I would prefere - Have never seen them in reality.
Would prefer these over any Mark VII seats including the LSC, which I don't like.
Have Eldorado 1993-1994 black seats in my Mark VII - original 1984 in my Bill Blass, which I like the look of but they are not extremely comfortable, compared to my Eldorado Biarritz 1980 seats or the Eldorado Biarritz 1978 seats, which are among the best ever made - including Mark IV 1976 (looks like yours in design) Continental 1970 & this body - the Mark V especially the Designer, the Imperial/New Yorker about 1974, & the 22 ways 1989- 1993 Fleetwood 60 special.
However some of these are too big for our Mark VIIs.

My workhorse Mark VII is an 89BB with those same seats. The whole car is more comfortable than the LSC (IMHO) and great for a daily driver. However, that said, I would not have wanted to take the recent HR Power Tour in a BB. For the type of driving our 7's did, the LSC with it's "handling package" is the only way to fly.
For all seats considered, I'd have to say the most comfortable I ever had were the individual bucket seats of the Renault R10 of the 60's.

I like them both, but the BB seats are very comfortable. the lsc seats fit like a glove and hold you in place to take full advantage of the handling package they came with.all in all i'm a linc-a-holic.:D
comfort for know and speed for later.the motor is in the machine shop, bored .30 over and i've been shopping for cams.crower looks pretty so far.

My 1984 BB has Koni front shocks rear air shock coil springs & LSC front & rear sway bars.
My 1984 60,000 (with 1993 - 1994 Eldo seats) original miles Mark VII will get LSC sway bars (have them already).

no, this one i found at a used car place sitting in the back with the upper intake off and was headed for the scrap yard! all it needed was the fuel injectors replaced and some love.
the wheels are off the '91 that i drove from AZ when i moved here.

Demonswede-
Consider the basic way Ford/Lincoln engineered and presented the Mark VII. Although a little "jumbled" at first, there were two offerings, the LSC and BB and each was put together to serve two different kinds of people with a common preference. Both were interested in the "sporty" look of the Mark, but one preferred the comfort and the other preferred the handling. So the "handling package" made the difference. Because they are the same platform, you can turn one into the other at some expense, but why? It has already been done for you. Aside from the seats, trim and instrumentation that are visual, the other differences are the airsprings, rack and pinion along with matching power steering pump and rear end gearing. If you really like the BB look and LSC handling, get a 91 or 92 and save a lot of trouble. Just my 2 cents.
(I had to edit out the shock absorber difference that apparently isn't)

My 1989 cost $500.00 After $2000.00 of bolt ons, it went 15.09 in the quarter mile with an automatic transmission and A/C. As a matter of fact, it's the car that your FLAMER raced against in 2003 :)
WTG. Is it gonna be a race a car?

$500.00 Lincolns are all the rage here on LOL. Must say that I'm happy to be driving a $500 1997 Townie. I'm sure your ride will bring you many happy miles of cruzin', mine has taken me 15,000 miles in the past year, and has never failed to start nor left me stranded roadside. Air blows cold, get 20MPG city, and is a great learner car for my 15 year old daughter (who is now begging me for a Lexus like Mom and Sister have... go figure).

Trust me! At 80-95+ in a relatively tight group for extended periods....well, quicker steering, better take off and a little more stability from LSC wheels. And they may not be pillow seats, but you can make them fit you better-lotta benefit there. Now if we were cruising at 55-60, that may be another story.

Maybe we have 20 1984 - 1992 Mark VIIs here in Sweden - most of these 1987-1988 & LSCs.
Mine 1984s are handpicked (by me) with like new bodies when related to rust.
I have installed an LSC rack & pinion in the BB.
The Mark VII has a new aftermarket - maybe cardone ps pump (if this is lsc or the other I don't know)
What's the differences with the ps pumps -if any?

there is'nt any real diference in the pumps,it's mostly in the rack.
hey john, when did we race in 2003? i was in AZ then and my car was running low 14's.
yeah, for $500. and 130,000 miles it's a pretty good deal.I also went on a trip to michigan and got 25mpg average, but thats with the 3.08 gear and 17's.the onyl real change i've made was the cai and the cat back off my '91.no it won't be a race car,but it'll run like one.true sleeper.:leer:

Nice deal on that mark, coffeepot!
My parts list show a different number for with and w/o LSC package. It also shows two other part numbers for the Diesel with and w/o LSC package. I'm not saying they won't fit, but.....

Even the stock LSC still floats a bit at high speed over bumps and crests. I think it's under damped for rebound.
