Can anyoun tell me where the oil pressure sending unit is on my 92 cont. I see one sensor in the side of the oil pan...Is this it???:o :o

That's the oil level sensor. The pressure sensor is usually by the oil filter.

sending unit, on passenger side of engine(front), kinda down below the idler pulley if I remember right.. thats the general location of it anyhow. As Ekooke said, above the oil filter.

It's easy to get at when you remove the power steering pump :(

Try cleaning the plug to the unit first. I had a dead sending unit and it turns out I only needed to de-grease the connection and it worked fine. :)

yea, it would be easy to get to without the PS pump in their,but I think youcan get to it without pulling the pump.

Thanks for all your help:D :D . The problem turned out to be the connection to the insterment panel was dirty. I followed the directions in the tech aera and solved the problem..I now have oil pressure:eek:
