Only mods were a K&N, and mildly ported heads and intake

Sweet!

I've always loved the fact that our 3.8's were so torqey (I guess that "torqey" isn't a word.....oh well!)

Yep, looks like how a large displacemnt V6 should do. Now add the 15% drivetrain loss in and figure out power at the crank and compare it to ratings:

rated: 155 hp and 220 torque for a '91

Yours at crank: 158 hp and 228 torque

Wow, thats right on! More power than stock with your mods on a 15 yr old car!

How much did the two runs cost by the way???

I got 3 runs for 50$, I went in with a bunch of T-bird guys for the day

I can't view the printout, but good for you. Remember that 15% is a close estimate, so there could be more or less gained.

No wonder I like the grunt of these V6s. That's sweet.

What's up with your 4000-5000 rpm performance? The waviness almost looks like ignition problems. How is your air-fuel ratio?
