Hey Lincoln Lovers;
I'M BACK (once again)... and NEED your HELP.
I have a 1988,Linc.Conti,v-6,3.8.I've (had) replaced :Compressor,Accumulator Hi/Lo,Suction/ Pressure lines.The Auto climate control Buttons(inside Car)ALL Work,when they are "Pushed"and they change one (location) to the other. The BLOWER Speeds operate as they should.
However, When I go to Max.Air(control Button) the force of the air is diminished and the sound is that of a "hollow or tunnel like sound,instead of a good flow of "FORCED air coming from the dash outlets.
Fellows,I need your IMMEDIATE HELP/Advice and
Photos of the system/Parts and How To Repair.
Thanks;
Wyatt earp

That's a tall order and getting immediate help is gonna be hard to get. You should buy a shop manual for your car, best $30 you'll spend.

Moving to Conti forum.

Pro Five O;
Thank you for your response.
Do you have a "Brand Name" Manual in mind.In past i've learned that some manuals sold at places
like advance auto does not cover all YEAR MODELS and instead are in GENERAL.
Thanks;

Remove the shield below the glove box and see if the return air grill door is opening on max a/c. This door only opens on max, otherwise the system sucks in fresh air all the time.

Otherwise, go to http://www.fordcds.com and download the manual for the oldest Conti there. There isn't much difference between the 88 to 94 models. Or browse ebay for paper copies of the factory ones only. Or http://www.helminc.com for brand new copies of the real thing.

What 98TC said.. I got a 92 manual from fordcds.com and it works great for my conti (a 91), and even better yet, its the right one for my cougar..
