Dave,
I can assure you that nothing in my Zephyr feels flimsy or cheap. I think they did an awesome job on the interiors in the way of quality. The styling is not for everyone and that is to be expected but it sure does look much better in person than in a picture.

I've got to go touch one!
But all the middleage midlife crisis guys in my parking lot here at work either have 05+ Mustangs or Hemi Dodge trucks.

I actually was going to get the new Mustang.... I went to the auto show and attempted to sit in the back seat. I know that whenever my mother-in-law comes, that's where I'll be sitting. Good Luck!!!!
I am very happy with the choice I made (especially when the in-laws are around!)!!!

AZ,
No, I opted for a the regular stereo over the THX system. The reason I did is because I still have a $3k competition system sitting around from 2 years ago when I used to compete. I am considering putting it in the Zeph but finding the time has been my biggest problem.
Gorge,
I was considering the Shelby Cobra. The main reason I chose the Zephyr was because the robbing dealerships were all wanting 5-20k over MSRP so they can keep it. Besides, I started thinking about how much the Shelby costs and you know what $43k+ sure would build a nasty hot rod and one that would just destroy the Cobra. Not to mention would be worth more in the long run. I have been thinking about keeping an eye out for a classic ride to restore or hot rod.

I wish they'd use colors this bold in the production version. I like the ebony, but a little more intense colors would really make the Zephyr's interior pop, most notably the silver trim.

I would make the Lincoln star on the steering wheel about 3 times larger…way to small ;)

That's Caddy talk. Lincolns are for understated folk, ya know.

Don't get me started. First they think going alphanumeric is a good idea (since its working for Caddy after 5 years of pain) and then the hyper-bling look.
FWIW, that dorky chrome thing above the grille might not make production. Thank goodness.

I did...it is extremely crisp. Bass response isn't all that much on the subs (they are only 6X9's I believe). Next years model is getting MKZ is getting a single 8...might sound a little better. But for a car that you really don't want to take the interior apart, it sounds and LOOKS very very good.

I think the MKX is getting that 8" woofer...not the MKZ.
