I have one of these. There is no sexy. Although, adding BBS style wheels from a Mark VII LSC or '91-'92 Bill Blass updates the car nicely and gets a decent sized footprint on the ground.
It looks like you have the rarer, optional forged aluminum wheels. It's in good shape. The chrome looks pretty good.

Yes, I do like the rims but there do seem a but small. I have new michelin tires on the car now so when those are ready to be changed ill think about the rims, defiantly want something tasty though, like it would belong on the car. I like the blue top and cream color, they match great. The Right Rear does have some rust though. Need a new drivers front wheel well molding, one on ebay but its expensive and iam a student lol. 94,000 miles and ready for 100,000 more except i baby it so it wont see that much.

Nice ride, dude. I'll make sure to wave at ya on the road. :)
If you need parts, you need to go to pick-a-part. They have Contis (at least for now) and parts are insanely cheap. This is how I've restored mine.

Yes, I have been meaning to go to pick a part. Herd good things about them. Right now iam chasing when my a/c clutch doesnt engage, If I jump the #6 and # 4 pins by the blower control motor like the manual says it still wont engage. I can only make it enagage if jump the pin right at the clutch.

I have the same problem. I haven't gotten around to fixing it though. I've had bigger fish to fry with other systems. It might be from a bad blower motor speed controller behind the glove box or it might be from something else. Invest in the Ford/Helms shop manuals if you want to do work yourself. They're worth their weight in gold.

Looks sharp! I always liked those Contis. Someday I will have one, and an early 80's Seville to complete the set of "luxury cars with oddly angled trunks". :D

Ya, they are nice cars, a bit unreliable and over twenty years old though. Mine is still a dialy driver

Unreliable no, under maintenanced yes. Foxy contis are never taken care of, so when you get them, they profess years of lacking TLC.

5.0s are rock solid. Make sure you replace the PCV filter if it has one. The AOD can be shaky without proper fluid change.
I love cloth tops. Fox contis are rare with cloth tops. Nice ride.

Most 20+ year old cars on the road are unreliable due to neglect. Heck, its not even exclusive to older cars. Lots of newer vehicles are horribly maintained as well. My Townie saw little to no care, then sat for years. Everything started to come apart. Its all new now, and it doesn't give me problems anymore. Lots of time to get it to that point, but I don't fear driving it anywhere at all now. You'll get to that point eventually. Old does not have to mean unreliable.
