Since I put Hi milage oil in my car I havent seen the 171 and 172 codes in my my car. It seems great since I am getting better milage per gallon too. However, is there any reason to supect that the diaspearance of the vacuum codes taht there might be something esle like rings or any thing else that might be going wrong?

Did you replace your PCV valve ever, or examine the vacuum line attached to it? That's always a problem on these cars as the line gets older and cracked.
Maybe that's the problem, and the oil control with different oil is changing the PCV's intake of oil. That's a shot in the dark, but worth mentioning.
