You reuse your intake and engine wiring if you put a 1996 motor in. All you want is the engine block and heads...the long block.

when a slavage yard sells you the motor do they usly have the intakes and wirring on it
is it hard for them to change hte intakes like if i was gona take it to a dealership and they where gona chare me 1400 to install it wich i know is dome but i think might be the safe way to go how mouch more you think that would cost ?

I can't tell you any more than I did the last time you asked this question.
Any mechanic who installs the engine can swap intakes and re-use your underhood wiring to make it work.

i fianly found someone who sayd they could do it with a 97
i didnt ask him about somthing newer woulr a 2000 fit or is it realy difrent and harder but i got this one salvage yard with a
1995 with 92,000 on it says it whin perfect somthing abiout you could put a wine glass on it and wont spill a drop
for about 1800 they will do it
and someone with a 97 motor not so perfect but in good shap with about 110k on it they will do it for 1300
no just debating on who t use

They are both used motors, its a crapshoot as to which one is better. It boils down to which guy you think is trustworthy. Good luck with that. :) :p

If it was me, I'd pay the extra 500 clams for a 95 engine to go into a 95 Conti with 18K less miles on it than the '97, but that's just me. You know with the 95 that it will be harder for them to screw up on the connections etc. since they're replacing same for same, and that's a pretty significant difference in mileage.
