I saw my Continental today for the first time in three months and the old tub is looking a little neglected.

Well over here we have whats called "road tax", we have to pay about $350 a year to use a car on the road, we have to pay it on every car we own if we want to drive them on the road so having four cars that is $1400 a year. It gets kind of expensive to tax all my cars all the time so I only tax a couple at a time, the tax ran out on the Conti and I just parked it :)

With that fender trim, it's one of the BMW-built Coopers that start at $$toofrickin'much. The older fenders were more tucked in, and I think they had minor chrome strips lining the arches.

That Conti looks well enough for its age, despite the hiatus. I'd at least get it started and move it somewhere else in the property, like the garage. At least you won't get bug bites fixing it in there. :D
