aviator electric brake control

bought an electric brake control for a trailer, but it only has 4 wires. the harness that came with the aviator has 5. does anyone know if i have to buy a different brake controller or is there a specific way i can wire it up?

Welcome. See if you can figure out what that extra wire doesn and if its improtant for the type of trialer you will be towing.
