Or, like the Tech Article (http://www.lincolnsonline.com/tech/00052.html) reads:
The part number for the brass Transmission Throttle Valve bushing is F3SZ-7H303-B. Any Ford dealer can get it for you. It comes with a brass bushing and a new pin. Here is a picture of what the kit gives you.

TV Cable Brushing
I'm not sure if any one knows what a TV brushing is. :p
I had the same problem trying to get one about a month ago. I treid Napa, Checker, Advance and none of them had any clue what I was talking about. Called a dealer and the guy at the parts counter who answered the phone also had no idea, he gave it to some mechanic and he knew exactly what it was.
Some people that work at the parts stores only know alternaters and stuff like that.

I'm pretty sure that's a dealer only part. Use the part number from the Tech article. It will come up in the DB, 4 to a box.

I used the part number and got only one bushing when I went to the dealer. I believe it was $8.

Go to a real Ford dealer and tell them you need a Throttle Valve Brass bushing. I think they had a recall on the nylon bushings some years ago and replaced with the brass ones. I paid $5.33 a couple months ago from a Ford dealer. the auto parts stores cant help..

What they said about the dealership. Some stuff is just a dealer part. Any good parts counter guy will know just what you're talking about. If you come armed with a part number its not a problem.

The recall was issued in 1993. I have a letter at home that was in my bag o' documentation when I got the car. I should scan that and put it on here, relevant history and all.

I finally bought one of the brass TV bushings today. Mine wasn't bad at all, infact I had to pry it off with a pair of plyers. And with my really cool discount it only cost me $4.70, and that was with tax.

Pretty simple to network the laptop to the PC and print something out. Unless your PC or laptop does not have the hardware, then it would cost you a little bit of money. Spring for wireless.

Any printer was made for wireless. Just as long as you can get your computer thats hoooked to the printer on a network, you can share the printer. Windows or Mac or something else entirely?

Good deal. you paid 63 cents less than me...
my original nylong bushing wasn't too bad either, but the first thing i noticed is that is was much thinner than the new brass one.
Have you noticed any difference on your shifting sice the new bushing?

I been in the Ford parts business now for 23-24 years and sold a butt load of those TV bushings but never knew about the brass bushing ones until a LOL member ordered some from me. I'm sure there are alot of countermen that don't know about them either. But sounds like you got a rookie on that call. where do you live I'll run a locator for you and tell you if someone has one in your area.

You really have to go through a Lincoln/Ford dealer. Auto parts stores dont know about this..
Worse comes to worse call my Ford Dealer out here and let them mail it to you. Matter of fact the parts guy told me that he also likes to use them on shower rods or doors or something like that at his house. They make good hangers....He had about 5 of em that I saw when I bought mine about 1.5 months ago..
Woodfield Ford Schaumburg, Il. Ask for Dan Cole or anyone else from Parts dept. 847-605-1050 Cost around $5. and I bet they can send it to you in an envelope.
WAIT A MINUTE...got my dealers mixed up.... Try "Arlington Heights" Ford first at 847-870-1300 and ask for parts dept. This is where the guy told me the story about shower hanger hooks. Woodfield Ford is where I bought my lock relay. BUT..either one should have the part.

Those are at Dunwoody right? You're gonna get the paperwork fixed and dive in full time next semester, right?
