Man my outer tie-rod ends are really creaking and groaning when I turn the wheels--I can hear them over the radio. I jacked the car up and everything is rock solid--no play in the tires and the rubber boots are good on the tie-rods, ball joints, and cv. Any one know of a good replacement tie-rod end that is less prone to making noise or just go OEM?

I'll second the OEM if you would like them maintenance free for another 70K miles or so. Aftermarket will likely be of inferior quality but to offset that they will also likely have grease zerks to grease them every 3,000 miles. Wait 20,000 miles for grease and they will be dead and your tires pointing in opposite directions.

When my ball joints went on the driver diver it cause the tie rods to go bad which cause my tires to go bad. I replaced with new OEM control arm, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, front struts, new sway bar bushings, endlinks on both side and got an alignment and now the car is good as new.

Do you mind my asking what you paid for that overhaul?

I use aftermarket standard replacement parts with grease fittings. The primary reason the factory ones go bad is lack of lubrication.

Factory parts and OEM replacement parts are not the same.
Every "highend" aftermarket part is of OEM spec or higher be it Moog or Dana.
It is supprising what you see when parts are disassembled and you get to inspect them, electronics are the same way.

Oh no. I never thought you where. I had just seen this and offered the suggestion that aftermarket parts are often = to or better then OEM if you get the better line and some like TRW or often times the second line are very good too.
I would go with a few brands. As always, you get what you pay for.

it was over $1200 with all the OEM parts from the internet parts dealer. I don't have all the receipts on front of me but I'll get them calculate and post it.
