saw a few 07 navi s on the lot. i dont know about them....dont get that , gotta have it feeling. interior isnt bad, but the front end , ughhh.
the optional chrome piece that has a painted filler, imo the painted piece looks worse than the chrome.

looked at some expeditions el s, imo they look explorer like....

Yea, I dunno about them either...but I'm not in the new car market.

that front end is a throwback to sixties Continentals in a way. I didn't know what to make of it either, but like the retro touch I guess. Keeping in mind the new Mark did nothing for me in 1993 because I always loved the seven, but then look what I wound up with. I think it will grow on us, and what's more, I hope it kicks some GM badged Escalade butt :)~

OK, saw my first one on the street (after just seeing the ads...lol) and it was an eyecatcher in motion! No additional chrome above the grille on this one, looked great. Nothing screams look at me like a black Lincoln, and she was black :)

The new Escalade is all over the place down here, and it is more in your face where the new Navigator is more understated (like the Kennedy Continentals) but the Navigator takes it as far as I'm concerned, and that's not just the Ford in me speaking. Just looks nicer.

Yeah I know what you mean... advertisement pics can be very deceiving.

Here are some real pictures:

The look is okay, it might grow on me.

The new one drives a bit nicer, better steering feel and much less bodyroll...but I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Less body roll = higher propensity for roll overs.

Looks nice accept that grille and that star is just toooo freaking huge. I would replace the grill with the billet type; I think it would look awesome. I always wanted a Gator. Maybe when I am 90 I can afford one.

Less body roll = higher propensity for roll overs.

With standard Roll Stability Control its pretty hard to flip anything over, even SUVs. I drove a Porsche Cayenne real hard once, and that tall brick always stayed the course.

Maybe if I took a fast turn at 80mph in a Navi...but that's just the Darwin in me.

the link to the pictures on ebay makes it look like an explorer. The press photos look horrible IMO though. I guess we'll see how it does..

If you blacked out the lower grille or made it titanium colored and made some of the main grille black or argent, it stands a chance. The wheels are ugly as hell though, all of them. The Range Rover Sport or Range Rover looks better, but is smaller. I'd probably get the cheaper Expedition and spend the difference on a sports car or car parts to redeem myself.

local dealer got a 07 navi in, took a look , stone was the ext color with light cashmere int ?

not bad looking in dark stone ext........but odd with deployable running boards tucked in....

interior thou is another hump, the dash is real busy looking, like a blown up 65 continental dash.....

looked at yukon xl s also..........lack of power fold 3 rd row seats are downer. but denali a nice interior otherwise....

extended navis not available till feb or so.......
