Hi all I'm new to the site. I just picked up a 1992 Lincon Continental Signature Series and was looking to fix it up. I have a quite a few problems with this car.

The front pasenger was in a hit and run. Not too bad sorta minor. Anyway I need a new passenger headlight assembly and was wondering if there is anything that I can upgrade it to. Like IE. a 92 ford taurus has filmmed headlights but can be upgraded to clear hosuing headlights from a 95 SE. I was just wondering if there was any clear hosuings out for my car. If not would it be possible for me to just use the Fenders/Hood/Front Bumper and headlights off a 95+ Conti???

They only interchange with the 1987-1988 Mercury Cougar and there is no aftermarket lights available. The 1995+ Contis are totally different. You can try to put in 87-93 Mustang headlights (and their aftermarket upgrades) since they are similar size but its not gonna work easily.

Or to put it another way, a 1992 Conti isn't like a 1992 Taurus...even if they are kinda similar under the skin. ;)

Welcome to the forums. :)

I have a new turn signal if you are looking for one. I have to check which side. $20 and it's yours.

Regular taurus headlights have a better light pattern then the '94/95 SE clear housings.

If you can find 300 people to prepay for custom housings at $250 each APC will make you some.

Only upgrades are headlight harnesses and bulb upgrades.

I heard that too, but I decided to keep my mouth shut. :)

I think the Conti's headlights are fine, you can upgrade to different bulbs that put out more light (there's a thread about it on this forum) if you want more.
