awsome, Town cars are great cars. Just keep up with it and it will be fine. And no you are going to be on the conti boards more because conti's are alot more problematic then the conti's. good luck with it and post some Pics

You might have problems like the AC blower motor going out, things that you won't expect in a normal car, but things that go bad on a car that never stops running all its life.

If the price is right I'd say its a fine car.

Eh, its a fair price if the interior and exterior isn't beat. Expect conti style problems though like wheel bearings, new rearend...like Pro mentioned. I cant believe the tranny's made it that long! The parts are cheap and readily available. Just consider...I paid less than that for a '99 Crown Vic with 100K...so your trading off hundreds of thousands of miles for the minor variation in look in the Town Car. :)

I think I would widen the spread of my search and see if you can find some old geezer getting rid of or trading and buy his, rather than a limo (have you ever seen how they drive when noone is in the car?)...just a thought!!!

It sounds like he is buying a sedan that they use for airport runs and such, not an actual limo. I bought one that had 240,000 miles on it and robbed the parts off of it to rebuild my limo.
