Well, outclassed doesn't begin to describe the great cars that were there. I just loaded the gallery with an album of the last official car show of 2006. The Lincoln & Continental Owners Club PA Chapter at Peddler's Village, Lahaska, PA

Myself, Katshot (Kevin), lscinpa (Jeff) and hopefully a couple of potential new members to the LM7 Club had a great time braving the 40mph + winds and 50 degree temps!

It's time to hang up the keys until next March. 2007 isn't really that far away, you know! :D  ;)

I know taste is personal, but that is one of the ugliest Fox Continentals I have ever seen. This is all coming from a Fox Continental owner who admits the body is a bit awkward from the start. I do admire the condition of the paint and chrome on that car though. It's very, very nice. Bonus points if he restored the car.

Man thanks for the view of the trees. I'm near St Louis now and this year was exceptionaly good. But nothing like the Laurel Highlands or the rest of the Appalachians.

Ya bastage! LOL :p I don't know Tommy.... I think I'll have a ton of things to get LM7 ready for next season. Lining up more sponsors and cruise sites; we still have to discuss a mid-atlantic region site for OUR car show. Believe me, my friend, there'll be PLENTY for me to do. ;) :D

Mid-Atlantic, eh? You know Southern Maryland is lovely in the spring, and surrounded by water. :p

If I remember the year, it's a 70 or 72 Jaguar XKE It took Dom Mari (the owner) 3 years and 6 days working every day to restore it BY HIMSELF! (that's after working on other people's cars) He's a true auto restorer. That's his profession.

Man some nice pics Hiz. Those are certainly some neat vehicles, and all in super shape. Now that the show season is done, you'll have to come down to Florida for all of the winter car shows down here.:)

A friend was asking me about cars shows in Florida during the winter months. Do they still happen? Do they have lots of them?

Thanks

We can have a car show in my driveway. I will even graciously volunteer to provide everyone with FREE tapwater and butter cookies for refreshment.

I realize no one wants to go up against the dead Mojo though...:p

The Cypress Gardens show happens in January (I think?) and there are other shows around town as well. The weather is beginning to get nice down here with nights in the 60's and daytime in the 70's.

I'll tell ya what, Nick ... hire me an enclosed trailer, get me a suite at the Westin, and I'll hang out with ya at the shows! :p
