Hell, lets try it (87 town), forums are kinda slow, and this should keep us posting for a good cause. Obviously there is alot of crap that can be added here for quick reference. Im just seeing if its a good idea or not

pretty ambitous idea there Mr Wiggls...
naturally get permisison for this new "common problem section" if it is wanted and then if all okay maybe everyone can have the ability to add to the list as we go along???
Then again, we do cover all possible problems as they come up on the new threads...and if it is a common problem that has already been addressed, we can always go back to the thread to review...plus we have the tech sections that are helpful for common problems. I do like the idea of having a format though that could easily direct you to the common problem area. I'm sittin on the fence here???

Adding to the list is the whole point, we should if all goes well, have a huge list of everything we need to know

No offense. But we already have this... it's called LincolnsonLine.
It has a Tech section, and a search engine.
Why are you trying to put a website within a website? It just doesn't make any sense?

Hey guys, give wiggles a break. It might be a good tech article. The top 10 most common problems and their symptoms. Could solve a lot of problems real quick.

That's pretty harsh dude! Risk just wants to contribute (which you do alot already-THANKS!), so why shut him down?

Go for it Rick! I am very interested in seeing the outcome. You are not wasting your time. I don't have a lot of 5.0 knowledge and my 5.0 has been gone for over a year, but if I can help I will.

I realize this is a necro thread, but I wanted to provide some incouragement.

I for one have benefited very much from these articles. Wiggl3s just saved me a good 12 to 1500 bucks with the TV cable bushing thing and I just printed out the article on fixing the window motors that will save me a bunch more money and time. This is an excellent article with great pics and all. Now I need an article on the load leveler so I can fix that. My Lincoln is going to be a really nice car thanks to the help on this site.

Make you a deal, if you make a new thread about it, I'll be happy to tell you all I know about box auto-level suspension. I recently put mine back into service and know a bit about how it works. I also have the EVTM and can scan diagrams if needed. Just don't want to get into it here and make this way off topic :)

Let me be the first to point out the irony of getting off topic in a topic about topics

Now that thats out of the way, i'd like a new thread also, i dont know anything about these systems
