Well nobody on this forum complains about the Zephyr (except the guys who don't own one ) and the ClubLexus forum is full of unhappy ES owners...

Things are changing.

Nice! I am excited. But this guy does have a point:

I wonder why the Mazda 6 is not in the list.
The Fusion/Zephyr/Milan are just reskinned Mazda 6.

But its the Ford engines we are concerned about here. :)

The Mazda 6 isn't made in the same factory, pretty simple. ;)

And the engine is the same Duratec in a 1996 Taurus. Its proven itself.

Well, lets hope Ford can keep it up and dethrone the Lexus. Time will tell.

So let me get this straight, lots of people complain about the Lexus so it is #1 in reliability and nobody complains about the Zeph so it is #2???? What's wrong with that picture.

You're not accounting for "historical" data...Lexus has a reputation backing it.

I must say, the Lexus ES350 has been sort of a disappointment for many Lexus buyers. The ES series has been slowly declining in quality over the years. Additionally, the RX350 has also been disappointing, with many sample defects showing up in the first year. The good of this; it makes American vehicles appear that much better.

Unless someone read Consumer Reports to learn the details, I seriously doubt that is what's going on here.

Odds are the Lexus people are unhappy about the new ES (its a flawed car to some extent) but their overall happiness with the dealer is still good.

Who knows what's going on with the Zephyr, but it isn't far behind.
