Wife went to pick up my car after getting the trunk switch replaced and said the car won’t start. Cranks but does not turn over
I saw a post that talked about a CPS sensor or a inertia switch in the trunk being popped
Any help I can give her to let the mech. know would be helpful
I'm in Iraq and can't do much from here

The fuel cutoff/inertia switch is in the trunk to the immediate left of the left trunk hinge. That might need to be reset.

When the trunk release was replaced, did the mechanic disconnect the battery? Could be a cable is loose and not enough juice is getting to the starter. Cam Position Sensor? I don't think that would be it. Possibly a sticking/clogged IAC or it could be a bad "TPS" - Throttle Position Sensor which sits on the right side (driver's) of the throttle body.
Thank you for your service! Stay safe! :)

Yep, inertia switch first, wiggling the CPS second. Loose or bad CPS are the most common crank-no start condition from what I read. Easy enough to check the fuel pressure too while its at the shop. They should atleast be kind enough to check it out for no cost considering it failed in their arms but the world isnt perfect. Stay safe!

wife says they checked something in the left side of the trunk
in addition after they replaced the trunk switch.. the remote or the glove box button won't work the trunk. it will only open with the key
the hit just keep on coming

Damn, I wish there was a fuse that ran both of them. I am not sure though. Thats too bad.
A car this old is nothing but trouble. Fix or repair daily has been my 93 TC, everything is breaking at once.
