taurus shocks. will they fit?

im tryna replace my rear air shocks with converted shocks. now ive heard some talk about taurus shocks being able to fit. if they can what type and and what year.

The Conti has air springs and conventional shocks. Using Taurus shocks migh work and might operate okay, but the springs are a big no-no. They aren't made for a heavier car.

I wouldn't think the Taurus shocks would work. The Taurus is lighter and using them I would think would lead to an even floatier ride. The car isn't exactly a corner carver as is.
