Has anyone tried these angel eyes lights:

I am curious to know if they looked good or just plain cheap.

I was especially impressed by the misspelling of "there".

Those XENON conversion kits are crap and are often horribly done. You want good bulbs? Get a set of Wagner Bright Lights or the GE Nighthawks, both are MUCH brighter than stock.

I didn't think they were too good, but figured maybe someone had tried them and was pleasently surprised.

Before you go shell out some hard earned monies I'd check the DOT in your state and see if they are street legal.
You could have a purdy set of lights gathering dust.

DOT is sketchy stating that the light must be white. I am actually leaning toward a conversion with relays and having 4 hi/lows that are silverstars or similar. I think that should light the way well enough.

I like the look of my silverstars... they make my car very distinctive from cars with regular lights. Much better and brighter than cool blues, but do not have a true HID look... nothing but HID's do. Of course that's not what I was really going for.

When I first bought my car, almost 3 years ago now, I originally planned to buy some of those light housings and install HID's, but then Texas passed a law making it illegal to have HID's on anything that did not come with them originally.

On another note, I only installed the silverstars for the lowbeams. Since they're not really brighter than the original head lights, I saved my money and left the hi beams regular lights. After all, if you're using the hi beams, chances are no one is around to see them afterall... other wise you shouldn't be using them.

I know someone who has H4 lights in an 85 Vic. I personally don't like the look of them. They look out of place, new style stuff on an old car and it just doesn't go well.
