are sales up on 06 s or 07s ? i would imagine given the potential of 9,000 bucks of rebates on the 06 s that moved the sales up in november. local dealer still has 5 ) 06 s navis ..and just got his first 07 which happens to be a navi L , very nice in white chocolate, stone interior

I think it is total sales.
That's true about the discounted 06s...that might explain part of the increase.

Gators are sexy as hell.
I went to go look at an '03 a few days before I picked up my LS. If the truck wasn't beat to hell and back, I woulda snagged it.
I will say that I see a TON of Aviators and Gators around these parts lately. I think they're taunting me, knowing that I want the Gator and can't afford it. lol

Yep, Gators drain your wallet. The 2001 I had was getting 13.8 avg mpg :eek:The cooled seats kicked ass though ;)

Everytime you hit a curvy road, though, you will reaffirm your choice for the LS.

I was looking into a Gator so that I could tow the '87 down to Georgia next year without having to rent a UHaul truck. I guess I'll have to do that anyways. lol

I have been seeing a few more MKZs around here.
I was actually out in Indiana for a couple of weeks and I was surprised. There were a million LS's and quite a few MKZ cars.
But, here in Arizona, I almost never see another LS.

Welcome to the world of Lincoln/Mercury sales ever since the mid-1990s. With good sales come profit-killing discounts and lease deals.

But throw the Aviator into the mix: I'm not saying the Aviator is better than the LS, but that's one fine handling tow truck. Its grip and poise is amazing, and its frickin fast with 300hp and a 5-speed auto.

Aviators were very nice trucks. I am still shocked they didn't sell well. I wouldn't mind one.
