I need a working speedometer cluster for my 84. Does anyone know where to get one or have one? I tried bakersauto with no luck, will try lincolnsland tomorrow. The one from the junkyard was a no go.:(

The cluster is shared with 1984-1987 Base Mark VIIs and all Bill Blass Mark VIIs from '84-'92.

Man, I can't find a car around me for miles. If I had the money and if you had the time, I'd pay you to grab some stuff for me. I've been looking for a long time to get the rear wheel arch trim on both sides and the front wheel arch trim on the passenger side. It's hard to ship though. If you can grab the door mirrors and cornering lights, they would be good spares. They are unique and hard to get.

Yes,,,, shipping is a lot,,,, but if your intrested ill pull the parts for you free. Iam going agian tuesday. Cornering lights are missing, as usual. The mirrors I can grab for you. passangers side rear and front were good moldings. Dont think that car had the arch trim around the trunk.
Only problem is iam 18 (why i dont drive a car my age i do not know) and poor, so money is tight.
I plan to get the drivers front wheel trim, right tail light, and front seats.

I'm 22, in college, and going to be broke for a while. It's OK, we all start somewhere. The important thing is to get somewhere later whatever you do. My Continental was my first car and I still have it. I'm not sure if you can even find a box big enough for the wheel arch/rocker panel trim. The mirror might be worth it for at least one of us if the chrome is decent and the glass is still attached. I've had 2 break on me. I'll try and remember to call you at a reasonable hour in Central Time. Thanks!

my first car too:) Its from Ohio, grandpas old car, So ya i know about the rust. Also, Bakers auto or some place in MA is where i got the wheel trim last time and it was shipped in a box and luckly wasnt broken.

What would take for your old cluster with the random speeds mine won't even do that.

There is some places that will repiar them, Its under links. Also i was planning and have a set of aftermarket digital blue gauges that i was planning to custom mount behind the black plexiglass if i couldnt find a new guage cluster. Next time i go to the junk yard iam going to try and find another one.

Hey check with Austin Speedometer here in Houston, they can probably fix the one you got from the Junkyard.

I've used them before and they are good people.

I tried to do the same thing your doing, make two outta one. I had an electronics friend who works on cb's all the time and fixes generators for a living. He says its a bad chip. Anyway, Ill charge you like 15.00 bucks for it, thats how much the Pick a part charged me for the broken one I bought. Shipping shouldnt be to bad. Do you need the Odometer Module too? (Its the square white box).
The one that came outta my car displays random numbers at times.
The junk yard one doesnt turn on, and now is missing a capicator.
I rather not part with it, but ill try to help a fellow lincoln owner out.
