Finally got the car I've been looking for. Took me about 6 years to find one that I liked, with the right options, and in GREAT condition. I found it on E-Bay, but it was only 20 minutes away so I could go look at it and drive it. Bought it locally so the guy took it off E-Bay early. I was surprised that it looked better in person than in the pictures, especially the drivers seat. I will be making some new threads about little issues that it has soon. I will post the E-Bay link, tell me what you guys think. Will get my pics up soon.

Congrats, I noticed that one on eBay too. I'm pretty sure the dark part of the paint isn't factory. Seen a few done that way and it looks great.
We need more threads in this forum too, so post away!.

The original owner had it till January 06 when he got put in a wheelchair. They the second ower I bought it from only put 400 miles on it in the one year he had it. The paint is all original and factory. My grandmother had one that was the same paint scheme but the champagne color was white, and it had the delete option for the vinly top.
Ok, first problem isnt really a problem I just don't know how to adjust the recliner part on the drivers seat. They are 50/50 split 6 way power. The passenger recliner is not power it has a lever. I just don't know where the switch is.
The spare tire has never even had the top part unscrewed, and the jack still has the spring on it, neither have even been out of the car. The cartier clock is still in perfect working order and still adjustable.
And I know this is an audio thing but the radio dosen't put out sound on FM. AM and the 8-Track player work perfectly, just when on FM there is no sound. Its the quadrosonic radio. And I thought it was really cool you could switch through the programmed stations with a button on the ground. And is the CB raio plug-n-play or do you need something else for it to work. This and the moonroof is the only option it don't have.

Anyone on the driver seat recliner? Dereck, anyone?

The drivers seat does not recline. You will have to live with it. Its 1979 not 2009. Make sure that you have a CB antenna before you turn on the CB radio (the antenna will have a little hump in the center) and if you do have a CB antenna I would suggest that you get an SWR meter and adjust it first before using the CB radio.

It is very factory my friend. What he has is a Williamsburg Town Car. His color combinations are: Cordovan Metallic/Crystal Apricot Metallic. Here is a pic from a 79 Continental Brochure.

Oh man that sucks, the passenger seat reclines. Hmm, people have said that it is a Williamsburg Edition, but it dosen't have the badge on the dash. And mine has a hafl vinyl top. That would be cool if it was though.

Some Williamsburg town cars came with half top. Just like some Collectors Series did. I don't think any of the Williamsburg Town Cars had badges on the dash.

I only said that about the badge on the dash because I've only seen one and it had the badge. But people have said before that they think its a Williamsburg Edition. Hmmm, is there any way to find out from the VIN or any other numbers anywhere. I still can't believe that the passenger seat reclines and the drivers dosen't! And the onlt thing that I never liked about the Collector's Series is they didn't have the opera windows. And do you have any pics of yours Megaforcer?

The other button on my mouse don't work so I have to post the whole link. If you scroll down it shows the Wimmiamsburg badge on the dash.

Hi Dibly74
The recline on my 79 is a manual lever on the side of the seat.
I thought all Williamsburg editions were grey/silver as I have only seen them in those colors, didn't realise they came in other colors :o
