driver from crissman ford/lincoln mercury from michigan, arrived noon time....
what a great deal, awesome service
hope ok to plug the dealer, ever need a car/truck, paul, matt and jason made this the best / easiest car buying deal i ever made.
now to the navi, all is good, ultimate package, 6 speed tranny interesting shift patterns over the 4 speed auto. upshifts real good, low speed travel little noisey on the shifts, clicking/clunking, hit 17 mpg riding home, never got that on my 03 ! ! !
glad i did another navi over the other choices, ie expedition el, navi l, yukons, and even escalade , and escalade esv...... old style navi imo still ranks high on everything overall, and a smokin deal to boot.
now thinking of buying the 07 20 " rims/tires i found on ebay....

Good deal! I dont like the sounds of that clicking, clunking though. Many say the 20" ride poorly so maybe take a testdrive of a Navi with them before committing to them. Good luck with the new truck!

clicking/clunking seems to be only at slower speeds, ie traffic, seems to hunt alot....very minor, but never the less there.

I think our 2005 Navi does the same clunking when you stab the throttle and back off real quick. Other than that, I'm happy too.
Congrats on the purchase. Thanks to the 6-speed you can actually get over 20mpg on the highway after the motor breaks-in and you set the cruise to 65mph!

You must have one hell of a garage if you park all those vehicles under cover!

the only 2 garaged are the 77 and 91 benz...
and daughter has the mazda
this new 6 speed tranny is going to take some getting used to...local driving is a must to lock out OD..
and when wanting to get some zoom zoom out of her, i still have to figue out method, stomping on it seems to upshift 1 first then downshifts 2, then takes off, very rough shifts... easing into accelerator produces better shift patterns over the stomping but doesnt produce the passing power needed ..
i m kinda used to a lag, my gmc with the duramax has a lag also, turbo i believe and or depower to save tranny from max power.

Damn this is not good news, I have been researching putting this new 6 speed into another vehicle for a while now, but by the way you make it sound, it needs a new shift schedule. Problem is that the shift computer is internal and not flashable yet....soon they will come out with a way, soon. Good luck with it, maybe it just needs to break in. ;)

My 06 took about 3000 miles to feel right, the thing really books it for a 3.5 ton beast, 0-60 best in class also e=rated to have best passing power.
