My Continental has the illuminated entry feature. All interior lights come on when the doors are locked and you try to open the front doors. The passenger side light ring around the key hole works, but the drivers dont. If I were to get one off another 79 model Continental, is it transplantable from car to car without changing the lock cylider. Or can I change the lock cylider from my car. Or any which way, just so I can keep my original lock cylinders.

Lincoln Land answered my question today. They have them for $15.00 and the interchange.

Well i got the new bezel in today. It was scratched up, dented, and rusted. And it did NOT interchange. I tore the thing apart trying to figure out how it worked. So I have to re key the new one to my old key by switching the pins and springs in the right locations in the right directions also. Im going to order another one since I messed this one up. I want to keep the car looking good, not just have a beat up bezel with a working light.
