2005 TC. Auto door-locks intermittently start cycling thru lock / unlock. Happens when being driven or parked. Remote control judged not to be a suspect. Any ideas?

Hmmm the remote is inoperational when the car is running. Can you turn the autolock feature off and it still does this? Is your car still warrantied?

Never heard of that on a Ford. My Trans Am did the same thing and the body computer had to be replaced. You could hear it do it sitting in the garage sometimes as well as driving.

The problem has not reappeared. Think it may have been a friend in the backseat text-messaging on her cell phone. She hasn't been around, nor has the problem.
Will ask the dealer to check the computer the next time I take it in.
Thanks for replying.

Hopefully you guys still post here. I had the same thing happen on my '04 TC the first month I owned it. Happened 3 times over a period of 2 days. NEVER happened again. I can not, for the life of me, imagine what happened to cause it. It happened with about 3-5000 miles on it. I just sold it with over 217,000...
Did your interior lights turn on, too? Mine would.

The door switches are tripping out...do this to all 4 doors.
