so i just picked up a 69' lincoln continental for 100 bucks from my brother. he needed money fast and i wanted his car so now its mine! it only had 57,000 miles on it. but it has been sitting for almost 10 years with the hood closed covering up that moster 460ci, the body is straight and no rust, yesterday i put good gas in it and made sure all the fluids were new and it started right up and idled like a new car so my question is what should i replace motor wise on the car before i start driving it? i was planning on replacing all the belts and all the seals and gaskets but i think that should be good cause it has such low miles. what do you guys think?

Replace belts, hoses, tires, fuel lines and all fluids. If the gas seems okay, run it all out before driving anywhere for along time. The brakes might need more attention than fresh fluid, but you'll only know once you drive it a little bit.
Good luck with the car.

even as broke as I am, I would have scrounged a hundred bucks for a 69... sigh, I am NEVER in the right place at the right time.
but basically, anything rubber on the engine/chassis should be suspect. everything mentioned above fits the bill.
