I was poking around the junkyard today to pick up a new IRCM, surprisingly only 1 continental was present. (an 89' Signature)
So I go to see if there is anything useful, and lo and BEHOLD! A factory strut brace! (about 1" thick with just 1 mounting hole on either side). I had no idea that it was an option on these cars, does anybody know all of the models that this was installed in, or did I just get lucky?

Anyway, this concludes my suspension upgrade w/ the rest of the sho stuff.

I also picked up the heater control out of the Taurus with the solid buttons, but SURPRISINGLY, it is about1/2cm wider and taller, so I will have to contemplate some modification to make it work.

We had a thread on this a while back - I think we determained that they had them up to 1989, after which it was deleted. I snagged one for $10 from my junkyard. ;)
