Thanks guys. I looked for about 8 months before I found what I wanted...and found it..of all places...in the used car lot at my local Lincoln dealership! It's hard to find an all black one with a moonroof and less than 100,000 miles around here.

Ivory Pearlescent tri-coat paint (part of Cartier package).

Some what custom front-end featuring custom grille hat, billet grille, and gold hood star.
http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/5896/ln9fd6.jpg

Also notice gold Cartier badge, and "LINCOLN" script (sprayed gold) to complete factory gold package.

The unmistakable Town Car "hump" sail panel.

They have a 4pc which is just the pillars and a 6pc which includes the rear privacy glass divide as well.

Not my style, but to each his own! Looks well done and well built. I love that color on Town Cars. Sharp car.
Today, there was one like mine (a '99) in THAT gorgeous burgundy wine color at the same dealership I bought mine from 4 months ago...I was tempted to go look at it...but I saw it didn't have a moonroof. That's a weed-out factor for me. LOL...
There was a deep, deep red (burgundy) color available on the very early 90's cars called 'Cabernet'...like the wine...I still think that is the sharpest color for these cars...and I see so few of them in that color driving around here. Maybe one left I see occasionally. Beautiful color.

Man, these cars do look sharp with 14" on them. You did a nice job there, good colors too.
Hey where did you get those head/tail lights? The rears look like European spec and the fronts look like some aftermarket design.

Thanks!! These are actually 13"s on this one. And the lights are both from european spec kit (headlights, tail lights, wiring harness, side marker lights and rear bumper reflectors).

Don't want to sound like the idiot here (btw nice wheels) :D why are your front tires angled like that? Hydraulics?
That HAS to be the coolest rim design I have ever seen.....gold centers, sparkles on the outside.......dude  thats awesome :)

Thanks!!! Yes the front wheels are angled out for the hydraulics, to take pressure off of the upper ball joints when you lift the front up.

well I see 2 disadvantages of that I think.
1. you wear the living crap out of the lowers right?
2. doesnt the edge of the wheel wear out pretty quickly?
dude I want your rims....that picture of the detailed rim makes me so jealous....LOL :D

1. No problems with the lowers;)
2. Yeah they wear out a little more than normal, but the tires are cheap!!!
And any good paint shop can do some rims for you!

'Just joined a few weeks ago after getting our 04 Ultimate. Absolutely love it! We're adding the "Towncar" splash guards and probably chrome/stainless rocker panels. If I can find something that works I'm thinking about Continental emblems on the B pillar posts. These pics are before I've Zainoed it (waiting for decent weather when I don't have to work).:)

I got them from a guy in Detroit, unfortunatly the two sets I bought were the last ones he had. And he bought them directly from ford in 02.

Rascal King,
How sweet it would look if you pulled the stripes down to the deck lids! I'm a little to old to really like the small wheels you younger guys like, but I can appreciate it when a plan comes together, with detail like the logo and the vanity plates, Nice Nice Nice!

Thanks for the reply to my HID question Edwin:). I will check with the dealer this week and see where I get on the build sheet. Sweet looking Ultimate! & Damn! You've got the light color dash! We have the darker dash & pad but I still love all the goodies like the nav. Keep her rollin:cool:

As a life long FORD driver, thought I'd send a pic of my first Ford purchased. A '57 Fairlane 500 two door sedan. Bought in '60 with 36,000 miles on it. Garaged kept. Definitely a car to date in. Hope you enjoy.

:bow:Beautious! I LOVE 57 Fords! 57 Chevys are sooo common... Do you still have it? Sounds like you're a bit older than me but it took me a few years to "discover" Ford product quality. Had a butt ugly 64 Comet in 70 but it started my love affair. Went to a 72 Monterey to a 78 Grand Marquis & a 64 TBird. If I could ever have a "hot rod" again (had a 39 Ford Coupe once) I'd love to have a 57 Fairlane 2 dr., Candy Purple Grape and maybe a 4.6 out of a Mk VIII/Cobra just for the looks! Maybe some seats out of a Mark V or VI... I think we have been fortunate to have lived with these cars because I think the future may be "little & 'lectric" or something equally not fun. Too many cars around anyway...Thanks for sharing!:D

Me??? Well, I'm turning 70 in June. Still love my cars though. Just sold my '96 T/C to my son. He had been panting for it since I got in in '01. Hated to see that one drive off though. I had a '29 Model A tudor sedan when I got married, but had to let it go when we bought a new home. Was in the process of restoring it, but had no place to put it...(SIGH)!!! Drive a variety of Ford station wagons while raising 4 kids who were all in Scouts. Didn't get my first T/C until the last one graduated college. LOL

Great Thomas! I'll be 58 in a couple of weeks but still act like I'm 12 at times (like when I got this 04 Town car!). We have 2 Mercury Marquis, a 76 2 door and a 78 4 door which was my dad's last new car. The 2 door is definitely going (selling) & I'm really tempted to part with the 4 door because of the expense of finishing its rebuild (paint and a rebuilt 400) but it has huge sentimental value to us. We have 4 cars and room for 2 and I do love this Ultimate but....???? We LOVE station wagons too! 'Grew up in 'em! Check this one out (pics)! Boy if only Ford had had this idea...;)
