I saw a few MKXs at a dealership here (southwest lm). They were absolutely impressive looking in person. I really do think it looks a lot nicer than what else is out there. I really love the full width rear lights on the rear.

I must admit, though, that they smell like crap on the inside. Not much of a Lincoln new car smell. The leather is also quite stiff. Seemed like what they have been using on recent Mercury products.

that full width tail light in the rear harkens to the Mark VIII, love it!!!!

The leather is a lot nicer than Mercurys...its just a good bit harder than your Conti. But then again, all new Lincolns have more interior beancounting than ones from 10+ years ago. Not cool.

Not a slam against the MKX really, I'm just used to things the way they used to be.

Well, I'll take the gas mileage and the handling of the newer ones over the "good old ones". But, there is plenty to love in both.

MKZ (esp AWD model) and Zephyr handle pretty well, the MKX isn't so hot. Anything that tall and over 4000lbs has never impressed me in the handling department. (I've driven it).

The MKX does, however, ride like a Lincoln. ;)
