I've got a 2001 TC and while sitting in traffic, the fan just stopped from my AC... just check the fuse, and it looks brand new... I have no real tools and little paitence anymore... so give me some best and worst case situations. Can my local dependable auto shop guys do this ok - as I'm thinking I don't really want to go to the dealer.

if it turns out to be the blower motor itself we have a handy tech article...

Someone posted an AC diagnostic (push a few button on the head unit) a while back...I'd do that first.

Once your car is out of warranty, there's no reason to go to the dealer if you have a good mechanic elsewhere.

I saw the diagnostic, but it didn't look to be for a 2001
