Aviator Hood Ornament?

Has anyone put a hood ornament on their Aviator? I read online that someone used a 2003+ Town Car hood ornament & that it looks pretty sharp. :idea:

I thought about doing that. The 2003-up Town Car ornament would work best because of its backwards slant that compensates for the slope of the hood.

There's plenty of room for it, just get the drill and punch out a hole on the hood.

I would buy two ($34 each) …cut the base off one and temporally attach it to the hood with heavy duty double sided tape. This will help you determine the best location for the ornament and allow you to get a feel for the look.

This way no harm done if you decide against it….

If you do like the look you can then drill a hole and attach the second ornament.
