All,
I have a 120" Krystal Koach Lincoln Town Car limo. The A/C in the back blows cool, but it doesnt get cold. The A/C in the front works fine, it gets REALLY cold.
Should I simply check the freon first and if so does anyone know what the pressure should be? Or maybe some common ailments for these cars?
Im thinking to check the freon first but I cant find the danged specs. Im gonna call Krystal tomorrow and see what they have to say too. (Just gotta remember to call them. Lemme put something on my calendar real quick. Ok got it lol. As soon as my cell phone automaically syncs (I got it set to sync every 15 mins with my Outlook calendar through the bluetooth. So I can walk in the house and not do anything to my cell phone and it automatically syncs) Ill get a reminder in the morning.
Now...Ive been giving this a little bit of thought. The front A/C blows so cold im thinking the freon is fine. Which then would lead me to think what could cause the system in the back to not get fully cool.
Anyone ever worked on one of these things? Im pretty good at figuring stuff out if someone pointed me in the right general direction. On another board a member suggested that the car may have some type of water valve that controls the hot water to the back that may have malfunctioned. Ill have to check that out.
