View Full Version : Yes, a Mark VII can win a trophy at a Corvette Show

8) The Classic Corvette Club of Moorestown, NJ put on their Spring 2007 Show at The Promenade in Sagemore. My camera was acting up otherwise I would have had a gazzillion shots of some of the best cars I've ever seen. At any rate, it was a great day and I won out over a CLEAN 1987 Buick Grand National by a couple of points to take a (what they call third place) Participant Trophy. I was pleased and surprised as there were soooooo many fantastic cars at this show! 8)

Nahhhh... I know Gene and he's got more trophies for that GN than Carter has peanuts! :p He's a cool old dude....we've usually both taken stock class top 20/30/40 at the same shows. :cool:

Well, if you remember, some time ago I had a poll on what plate I should get for the '92 Mark VII. In Pennsylvania, you can put down three choices on the form and whatever is available is yours. Imagine my surprise when I called and they told me that "MARK VII" was available!! It was NEVER registered in the Commonwealth of PA as far as I know. I just couldn't believe that no previous/current Mark VII owner in PA ever got that plate. :):eek::cool::D;)
