That's right, I bought a 2006 Zephyr. Fully loaded, sticker was $35,000-ish. As a leftover 2006 model with 200 miles, the deal was absolutely smokin...$7600 off MSRP.

Well I didn't pay for it, but my uncle did. But I did all the legwork, so I deserve some props for that. Pretty impressive that I got a loyal Toyota person over to the Lincoln camp, no???

Just to be clear: I recommended a Milan/MKZ to my uncle, and after the haggling he couldn't resist. We got lucky that they still had a Zephyr in the showroom. (he doesn't need the 3.5L or AWD)
The deal was unbelievable...I urged him to jump on it.
I'd never buy one, but hey, I can still show the love!!!:p

Nice work! A good deal always makes one feel good inside. Your uncle owes you big time... just hope the "Z" doesn't go lemon.

Why would you think that? Zephyrs have pretty good quality.

The reliability of the Fusion was why I pushed my uncle to the MKZ/Zephyr/Milan. He wanted a Japanese car. And considering this fully-loaded Zephyr was only $5000 more than a loaded Milan, it was a no brainer.
Maybe I'll snap some pics when my uncle takes me out for one of the many dinners that he now owes me. Last time I checked, he's very happy with it.
