I have attended the Slammin-n-Jammin car show in Lebanon TN for the last 4 or 5 years. This year, the Mark was looking pretty so I threw down the cash and entered her. 3 day carshow with a burnout contest the second afternoon to anyone wanting to. I was the second on the signup sheet.:p First place takes $500, second takes $300, third takes $150, and fourth takes $50. I thought I was a shoe-in for at least third as my best friend ended up being asked to judge it but they took his scores and averaged them with someone elses. I took fifth when it was all said and done. First was my friend's Lil' Big Rig and I didn't pay attention to what cars placed because it wasn't me. Stupid Trac-loc that's about worn out was the cause of the loss. Ended up doing a one wheel peel till I blew it. Plenty of smoke but not what I had hoped for. Next year is going to see a rebuilt trac-loc, higher pressure in the tires, a little engine work and maybe some gears while I am rebuilding the trac-loc. I have a few pics and videos and am working on getting them to the web and linked over to here. It's not up yet but I got a note from an online magazine that they had taken pics of my ride for their Sic Pix and it would be on their website at www.dropjawmag.com (http://www.dropjawmag.com) . I can't wait to see the shots they got. Like I said, I will be getting pics linked ASAP. It may take a while, i took over 120 pics and several videos.

Let's see if this first video linking works.

Ok, got pretty much all the pics up from the show. You can see them here:

There are pics of women dressed skimpy so if you are offended by that, I wouldn't look past the first few pics or skip ahead to the second page.

Oh there's definately time and money spent on them but most just have to be laughed at. The John Deere and the Skittles ones were the ones that made me laugh all weekend. I am the kind that loves to see what others are doing and finding bits and pieces I like for my own projects. The old Lincoln needs wire wheels but it is still a great looking car, the spiked Chevy is way out there and cool in it's own right but the truck just isn't really for me. That's why I end up with so many pics. If I had just taken shots of the ones I really liked completely, there would have been less than 10 different cars.
